Leading Raleigh day spa seeks energetic, confident, ambitious leader for the position of Spa Director to manage all aspects of daily operation of one of our locations. Prior spa industry experience is not necessary, but strong client-service or hospitality experience is strongly desired. Prior management experience is required with demonstrated accomplishments in selecting and training team members in client service and sales, creating a high, team-oriented morale, understanding and managing key financial operating metrics, and using computerized point-of-sale and management reporting systems. Candidate must be able to work on weekends, evenings, and during the days surrounding key holidays.

Spa Director Responsibilities include the following:
" P&L Ownership All aspects of profit and loss, including services and product revenue, controllable expense, sales mix, and financial ratio targets.
" Communications Ensuring accurate, complete, and timely communication among various employee groups, including spa management team, therapists, spa staff, and company office personnel.
" Client Relations Ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction by managing client requests, anticipating client needs, and resolving client criticisms.
" Personnel Recruiting, hiring, discipline, evaluation, pay-rate adjustment, termination, training and development, and other aspects related to spa personnel.
" Retail and Professional Product Accurately measuring inventory, placing order, controlling shrinkage, and ensuring professional product needed for services are stocked and orderly.
" Spa Facility Care and Maintenance Ensuring spa facility is cleaned and maintained for clients and employees.
" Marketing Implementation of key marketing initiatives.
" Store Administration Payroll, bank deposits, daily reports, etc.
