HORRIBLE! If you enjoy chasing people, begging for answers, and pulling your hair out then World Granite in Raleigh is for you. ;)
Initially World Granite seemed like a good choice. They had lots of marble in stock on their grounds including the color I had already picked out. I took my drawings into the showroom, signed the contract and handed over half of the purchase cost. Once they have the deposit the service stopped. My sales representative Tanya Marsik was a nightmare to get hold of. And I tried to stay out of the way as I know they are busy but when I got a last minute message saying they weren't coming because they had waited till the day before installation to check the measurements I really needed to speak to her. You can leave as many messages as you like but she won't call you back. Additionally measurements were ignored, faucet models ignored, lost, and lost again.
When I finally was near the end of this massive headache I had the displeasure of catching the owner Mel Neale on the phone in one of my many attempts to get in touch with Tanya. He offered no apology when he heard how much of mine and my designers time was wasted and how terrible his company's customer service level was he agreed but lamented "That's what I get for hiring single mothers." What?! I really don't get how a small business can survive with this kind of attitude. My only guess is they treat the developers who bring volume business more professionally but its hard to fathom anything near mediocre service after the ordeal World Granite put me through for a simple install.
Bottom line: this place will drive you crazy.
Sorry you were unhappy but it sounds like this was an anomaly with your salesperson, sometimes people have a bad day or something. They have treated my mom very well.
Couldn't have been just a bad day. A bad 4 weeks maybe, because that is how long it took me to get Tanya and crew to finish the job. My entire remodel project was held up by World Granite.

I'm glad to see they support someone. They sure don't support their customers.
